Biomass use is primary source of energy in rural areas of Nepal. Rural areas are comprised with poor, vulnerable and marginalized community that are uneducated and financially deprived to relocate in urban settings. Among those groups, women are the major entities, overburdened with cooking tasks. 
Biomass cooking consumes lot of time for collecting firewood. However, substitution of traditional cooking with electric cook stoves are ensuring to save plenty of households’ time. Such secured timing is aim at utilizing for education, livelihood improvement and income generations. Meanwhile, the project targets to train, locals on livelihood improvement and income generation schemes.
