This project is empowering forest-owned indigenous people in communities around Cestos-Senkwen, through nature-based solutions and innovative financing mechanisms, by:

1.	Establishing 12 fishing cooperatives along the Sanquin and Cestos rivers and supplying sustainable fishing nets to ensure fish products are available on the local markets.

2.	Providing food and cash-for-work to under privileged local youth for the construction of one-hectare aquaculture, as alternative protein to mitigate their traditional consumption of unsafe wild animal products.

3.	Training and empowering vulnerable women as management team for the one-hectare aquaculture by supplying local feeds and feeding the young fish twice-a-day, which is expected to improve their livelihoods and provide decent food security in a sustainable way.

Mission: To enhance biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation/adaptation in forest-rich indigenous communities in and around the Cestos-Sapo-Grebo Biodiversity Corridor, by fundraising on their behalf to eliminate poverty, food insecurity and other socioeconomic injustices in a cost-effective and sustainable way.
