Our plastic waste recycling project aims to empower those who are traditionally under-represented in the climate movement in a number of ways:

1. Employment: We provide employment opportunities in recycling for women, people of colour and young people in our community, giving them access to paid jobs and vocational training.

2. Awareness: We run workshops and educational programmes to raise awareness in climate-vulnerable communities about the importance of recycling and the impact of plastic pollution on their environment and health.

3. Community involvement: We encourage the active participation of local communities in the collection and sorting of plastic waste, involving them in decision-making and giving them a voice in the management of our recycling activities.

By empowering these under-represented groups, our project helps build community resilience to climate challenges and promotes environmental equity.
