Craste's initiatives directly uplift marginalized farmers in India's Chambal region by providing them with a crucial additional source of income – a 40% increase per acre – through purchasing crop residue. We also prioritize capacity-building and awareness-raising efforts to empower these farmers to make sustainable choices for their livelihoods. 

Furthermore, our operations predominantly occur in rural areas where poverty and unemployment, particularly among youth, are prevalent. Through our decentralized AFCU model, each unit creates over 20 direct employment opportunities, accompanied by training programs to equip rural youth with essential skills. 

Our engagement extends beyond immediate stakeholders. We utilize social media platforms and organize events to raise awareness about the circular economy and sustainability principles, fostering dialogue and inspiring proactive steps towards environmental stewardship. By investing in local communities and amplifying underrepresented voices, Craste ensures active participation in the broader climate movement, promoting economic empowerment and environmental sustainability hand in hand.
