Our project adopts a holistic approach to empower traditionally marginalised groups in the climate movement, particularly those reliant on agriculture without access to funding for sustainable energy and water solutions. Despite their minimal contribution to the global carbon footprint, rural communities in Kenya endure a disproportionate burden of climate change impacts.

By addressing energy and water scarcity through solar-powered boreholes, our initiative directly benefits women and children, alleviating their water collection responsibilities and providing valuable time for economic activities. Moreover, the transition to solar energy not only reduces reliance on harmful paraffin lighting but also enhances children's lives by creating safer and more conducive study conditions, ultimately improving educational outcomes.

Youth engagement is paramount, as we offer educational opportunities and skills training in sustainable technologies. This empowerment not only equips them to address environmental challenges but also fosters leadership within their communities.

Grounded in the principles of climate justice, our project endeavours to reduce inequality by delivering tangible benefits crucial to the livelihoods and prosperity of underrepresented communities. Access to electricity is a fundamental component of modern livelihoods, enabling economic activities, improving educational outcomes, and enhancing overall quality of life.
