With a focus on simplicity and accessibility, Cropfix reaches small-scale farmers, including many women, in rural areas where technological advancements are limited. By leveraging 2G phones and text messaging platforms, it ensures that farmers without smartphones or reliable internet can benefit. Moreover, 62% of our users are women and youth, contributing to their active involvement in sustainable agriculture. Cropfix not only increases income by $113 per hectare, addressing financial disparities, but also fosters environmental sustainability with a 28% reduction in chemical pesticides. By providing real-time updates, it empowers communities, particularly climate-vulnerable ones, with timely information to adapt and thrive in dynamic agricultural landscapes. Our commitment to inclusivity extends to partnerships with organizations like the Zimbabwe Farmers Union, enhancing the representation and participation of diverse communities in the climate-resilient agriculture movement.
