Our plastic recycling project empowers traditionally underrepresented groups in the climate movement in several ways. Firstly, by providing training and employment opportunities in the recycling process, we actively engage women, and youth who may face barriers to employment in traditional industries. Through skill-building and job creation, we foster economic empowerment and promote diversity and inclusion within the workforce.

Additionally, our project addresses environmental justice concerns by targeting climate vulnerable communities for participation. By locating recycling facilities in these areas, we not only reduce plastic pollution but also mitigate environmental hazards associated with landfilling or incineration, which disproportionately affect marginalized communities.

Furthermore, the production of bricks, blocks, and roofing tiles from recycled plastic offers affordable and sustainable building materials, benefiting low-income individuals and communities. By providing access to eco-friendly construction solutions, we empower these groups to mitigate their environmental impact and adapt to climate change.

Through targeted outreach and community engagement, we ensure that the voices and perspectives of underrepresented groups are heard and valued in our project's decision-making processes, fostering a more inclusive and equitable climate movement.
