Project Summary / Description:
The project objective is to promote dairy goat rearing. Dairy goats are foreagers and not grasiers. They consume trees, grass and bushes. The rearing of dairy goats will necessitate planting of foreage. The mature trees, shrubs and bushes will sink tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere. 31 trees sink one tonne of carbon. Dairy goat project will encourage more members in the group to plant more trees therefore mitigation climate change

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Our project is sited in the community with diverse manner of people ranging from people living with disability, out of school youth, and the aged that prompted the group to identify various personalities who will attend to the various in the community. An example of our specialized professional members include Lydiah who is a sign language interpreter for people with earing impairment, Lisa a professional Nurse attends to health needs of the valnurables in the community, Velnah Gesare a youth encourages youth on environmental conservation to counter climate change. Esman Onsarigo an Agricultural professional advices the community and group members in agribusiness for economic empowerment. The group meets once a month to schedule curriculum for various professional lines for community empowerment, Monitoring and evaluation is done quarterly.
