Our project is committed to empowering traditionally underrepresented groups within the climate movement, such as women, people of color, youth, and climate vulnerable communities. Led by the indigenous individuals, our initiative prioritizes inclusivity and representation at all levels. Our founder and board predominantly consist of indigenous members, ensuring that decision-making incorporates perspectives and experiences of traditionally marginalized groups. Additionally, we have appointed a project manager from the underrepresented Madhesi community, recognizing the importance of diverse leadership representation. Moreover, we prioritize providing on-the-job training opportunities to youth from underrepresented backgrounds. By offering practical training and skill-building experiences, we aim to equip young individuals with the tools and knowledge needed to actively engage in climate action.
