Gare Holdings Limited is a pioneering startup dedicated to revolutionizing agriculture and waste management through regenerative practices. At the heart of our initiatives lies a commitment to fostering sustainable solutions that benefit both the environment and rural communities. Our innovative approach integrates regenerative farming techniques with waste-to-value conversion, offering a holistic solution to pressing challenges facing smallholder farmers.

Through our Regen-Kilimo initiative, farmers are empowered to turn organic waste into valuable resources such as organic fertilizers and insect-based animal feeds. This not only reduces environmental pollution but also provides farmers with cost-effective inputs to enhance soil fertility and crop yields. Additionally, we offer comprehensive training programs that equip farmers with the knowledge and skills needed to implement regenerative practices effectively.

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

Our production model incorporates the smallholder farmers at grassroot level; empowering them with knowledge and skills to utilize abilities of the black soldier fly larvae and red worms in breaking down the farm and domestic organic waste generated in homes. Women and youth are trained, and assisted with the development of necessary structures for processing. They produce frass and vermicompost for their own use, and offer any excess products to our company at a fair price for further processing. In the process, we have created a network of resource regenerators who consist mostly the traditionally underrepresented in the climate movement.
