Our initiative has empowered 15 local residents as members of the EcoRanger Local Team (EcoRanger Banyuwangi), ensuring their active participation in waste management initiatives. In addition, we prioritize inclusivity by providing our 1200 clients, regardless of background, with essential waste management and sustainability knowledge and skills. Our program actively engages women, people of color, and youth, with empowered women making up 50% of our EcoRanger team. Participants gain valuable skills in waste management, renewable energy technologies, and advocacy as a result of capacity building and skill development initiatives, allowing them to actively contribute to climate solutions and drive sustainable community practices. This inclusive approach not only strengthens environmental stewardship, but also empowers marginalized groups to lead the climate movement, fostering diversity and resilience in our communities.
