KBCols estimates that its technology can have a significant impact at two fronts: 
a) In the next 3 years its technology could help farmers increase and create a new source of income for themselves by selling agricultural waste to KBCols instead of burning it. The company utilizes agricultural waste as raw material to supply to microbes for producing colors. So KBCols estimates to support 10000 farmer families with additional income of 1$ per Kg of agricultural waste produced in next 3 years.  
b) KBCols technology could also impact the livelihood of workers and ladies operating in dyeing mills. Textile sector is one of the most unorganized employment generating sector, with workers bearing extremely difficult working conditions.  KBCols technology could help workers save on health expenditure and lead a healthy and safe life.
