Our project, Koolboks, empowers underrepresented groups in the climate movement by creating opportunities for women, youth, and marginalized communities. In many regions where we operate, women are often the primary caregivers and owners of small businesses, including frozen food,restaurants and beverage sellers. By democratising access to reliable refrigeration and making it affordable through our lease to own model and rental model, Koolboks enables women to expand their businesses, increase their income, and assert greater economic independence.
Moreover, our project prioritizes hiring and training individuals from local communities, to be part of our distribution and service teams. We believe in fostering talent and providing employment opportunities to those who may face barriers in accessing formal employment channels.
Furthermore, Koolboks' focus on reaching climate-vulnerable communities, such as those in remote or rural areas, ensures that the benefits of our technology extend to those most affected by climate change. By empowering these communities with access to refrigeration, we help them adapt to environmental challenges and build resilience in the face of climate-related risks. 
Through these efforts, Koolboks contributes to a more inclusive and equitable climate movement by ensuring that the benefits of sustainable technology reach everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances.
