As a person living with mobility disability I respond to the need for life changing assistive mobility for all, especially PWDs by fabricating and manufacturing sturdy and robust wheelchair EVs that are functional in rugged African infrastructure.  The PWDs continue to be underrepresented in the climate movement and the Zero Emission EVs manufacturers are not paying adequate attention to them, not to mention unsuitability of the current e-mobility assistive vehicles for African user environments.  The social impact of this is to reach and serve over 10,000 PWDs in the next 5 years and improve accessibility to EVs for to underserved and unserved PWDs in Kenya and rest of Africa from <1% to 10% in 5 years. This outcome will lead to a multiplier effect of the economic empowerment and transformation of livelihoods of 1.6 million mobility PWDs in Kenya; lifting them from economic exclusion and extreme poverty to decent economic empowerment. Further, it will lead to an Environmental Impact of reducing approximately 10 Tons of e-waste of Lithium batteries per year through recycling to build at least 2000 batteries for PWDs EVs assembly and replacement per year.
