Our project is dedicated to empowering traditionally marginalised groups, including women, youth, and climate-vulnerable communities, by providing solutions in sustainable agriculture. 
With over 70% of Rwanda’s smallholder farmers being females, often earning an average income of just 110 Euros annually, women are a significant focus of our efforts. 

We aim to address this disparity by providing technical skill training to the first 1000 participants, with 70% being women, enabling them to thrive in the sector. Also, we target approximately 30% of participants, aged 18-35, ensuring youth inclusion and offering opportunities for skill development and employment, thus fostering a more inclusive and resilient agricultural sector.

Moreover, our agri-tech (aquaponics) model prioritises climate-smart agricultural practices, significantly reducing water wastage by 95% compared to traditional farming and eliminating the need for chemical fertilisers and pesticides, thereby preventing soil and water contamination. 

Additionally, we are not introducing renewable energy sources, particularly solar power (saving 147,000kg CO2 per hr for each farm), to power the farm and a cold storage system to reduce food waste and minimises our carbon footprint, which continually contributes to climate resilience and environmental sustainability.
