Our primary stakeholder group is low-income technicians in emerging markets. These are themselves mainly semiskilled workers with limited education, and are members of frontline communities. Our program provides these workers with financial incentives for mitigating CO2 emissions, which empowers them to be part of the solution. The education we provide in our socialization sessions help these workers connect their day-to-day responsibilities with the broader climate fight, an issue with increasing visilbility in the region. More broadly, the training and tools that we provide also help our beneficiaries advance economically through increased opportunity. As we grow, we will expand our suite of offerings to emphasize this as well.

Mission Statement:

As the world gets hotter, cooling in all its forms becomes a fundamental human right. The modern world requires AC and refrigeration, but these technologies cause serious climate impact. Recoolit exists to mitigate emissions from cooling and ensure that health, safety, and comfort can be available to all.
