Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
As our project is situated in a rural area, our workforce exclusively comprises individuals from nearby rural communities, offering them access to formal employment in an environment largely characterized by informality and instability. Moreover, 40% of our workforce consists of women from these communities, ensuring their financial independence in a setting where 36% of rural women lack access to income opportunities. As part of our mission, we are committed to establishing a production line tailored to small agricultural producers from coffee and cocoa sectors. We firmly believe that sharing our technology for social purposes will not only enhance our protein production capacity, thereby increasing the overall impact of our solution but will also significantly uplift the economic conditions of rural communities. To achieve this, we are planning to create a program for domestic-scale BSFL rearing and establish a supply chain involving the utilization of BSFL by small farmers. This endeavor will augment their income through two distinct pathways: utilizing the larvae for their livestock/crop production, thus boosting productivity, or selling the larvae to Biofly.

Mission Statement:
Our business is about making an impact. We are decisively focused on achieving sustainable practices and alternatives for the agricultural sector, which is heavily influenced by traditional practices lacking a sustainable focus. Through our production, we achieve reduction in CO2e emissions, land and water usage.
