Closing the recycling gap for hard-to-recycle fabric blends will help prevent waste-colonialism as currently is affecting most countries of the global south. 
In addition, our product design and business model aspires to follow a glocal approach where waste is recycled where it occures and will allow countries to become less dependent from dominant suppliers (especially in the textile industry the producing countries often are low-wage countries with a high level of dependency from large global powers such as China and Germany). Our solution will help them to retrieve value themselves and keep it within their economy.
