Empowering and inspiring women in climate tech - As a company founded and led by women, we hope to inspire other women to start and run climate-tech companies. As we grow our technical team of engineers and scientists, we are prioritizing women hires for these roles by advertising through relevant job boards (e.g., Women in Hardware). 

Supporting jobs for youth in climate tech - Seabound’s co-founders are both under 30, and the majority of the team is composed of talented young professionals under 35 who are dedicated to leveraging their careers to tackle the climate crisis. At the same time, we have expert advisors with decades of experience in the maritime sector. 

Diversity - Our diverse team, spanning various nationalities and backgrounds, mirrors our dedication to inclusivity. However, we have many areas to improve, and future plans include launching internal mentorship programs for underrepresented groups and setting up diversity metrics as our team grows to track and enhance our commitment to an accepting, diverse team.
