Senzi.Me joined with the Pan American Health Organization in Jamaica to build a campaign for the establishment of Jamaica's first Say No to  Air Pollution and Carbon Emission to eliminate neglected respiratory diseases as public health problems related to Air pollution. Riverton dumping in Jamaica has generated approximately 800,000 tons of residential waste annually since year 2015 which is considered the most problematic site from an environmental and social point of view. The site is operated without formal operating or development procedures, safety and health protection, or environmental safeguards. As a result, burning, dust, smoke, odor, and vermin problems negatively affect the surrounding residential areas and require immediate mitigating measures. The Riverton facility has for many years been a thorn in the sides of many Corporate Area residents who live in close proximity to the dump site. Numerous fires over the years have sent black toxic smoke billowing across many communities, worsening respiratory problems for all the people.Senzi.Me have already helped 2000 community members living near the vicinity with our Senzi indoor air quality monitors lower the death rate of 5%.
