Sound Future recognizes that climate programs often fail to include the values and voices of those most acutely impacted by our changing planet. Our ocean (Surf) and farmland (Turf) restoration program selects projects for their potential to address food insecurity, improve air and water quality, enhance coastal protection, support underserved communities and women, and encourage biodiversity. Sound Future’s Surf & Turf restoration program is built to address this inequality and create safer, healthier, more economically vibrant communities while using the power of gathering and the influence of our culture-makers to get people around the world invested in environmental restoration.  
 
Through dedicated merchandise revenue or per-ticket donations, touring musicians, athletes, and comedians choose to support our Surf or Turf restoration project options with their funding. This allows entertainers and their fans to join forces in making a collective and measurable investment in the ecosystems that have an impact on all our lives.
 
Unlike offsets, localized restoration projects fortify our own backyards against extreme weather conditions and create jobs, topics we can all get behind.  Together, we are improving our lands and seas and rewriting the narrative around the often-derisive topic of our changing climate.
