Our project is a beacon of empowerment for those traditionally underrepresented in the climate movement, particularly women in urban slums. By strategically locating recycling centers in these communities, we not only provide convenient access to waste management but also create employment opportunities, predominantly for women. Our project prioritizes training and employing women in roles ranging from collection and sorting to managerial positions, fostering economic independence and breaking gender barriers.
Moreover, our initiatives extend beyond employment. We actively engage with the community, conducting workshops and awareness programs on sustainable living and environmental stewardship. We also give monetary reward in exchange for their recyclables. Women and youth in marginalized communities earn a sustainable income from this cash incentives, they are able to feed, pay school fees or rent a house. 
We are not only contributing to environmental sustainability but also addressing social equity. By involving and uplifting those often marginalized in the climate movement, we are creating a more inclusive and impactful approach to combating climate change.
