The Tribal community solar project in Tyonek will empower Indigenous people by eliminating the harmful effects of carbon-emitting fuel on our people’s health and the environment. These initiatives provide economic opportunities for Tribal citizens by generating revenue for the Tribe and providing career opportunities in the solar industry. This project will improve the resilience of our coastal community in the era of climate change. Tyonek's solar farm is crucial for empowering and uplifting indigenous people in the fight against climate change.

Mission Statement:
To preserve and perpetuate the Tebughna Dena’ina traditions by funding scholarships, Dena’ina language revitalization, cultural events and community programs, and community development for the Native Village of Tyonek Tribal community.
