Conserve My Planet aims at mobilising youths and the communities towards a single most intricate goal, climate change. Terisa Foundation came up with Conserve My Planet to empower communities using its most powerful tool, education and the youth who currently impact decisions in our communities and the country at large. We want to disrupt our approach to preserving our climate, by educating youths (students in high schools) on the importance of taking action towards climate change. We intend to use social media, live sessions (training), arts and music, poetry to create awareness and knowledge in communities to take care of our most precious home, Earth. We need to act now and not tomorrow, human and animal life will become extinct from earth in a few years to come if nothing is done. Terisa Foundation will host awareness sessions in schools, specific to secondary schools. These sessions will be aimed at teaching students on sustainable conservation of environment in return leading to climate change. These sessions will focus on Energy Efficiency and conservation, Recycling Concepts, Reduction in E-waste, Water conservation.The project is set up with the vision of creating future leaders and responsible citizens who are conscious of energy environment conservation.
