Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
This groundwork paves the way for tackling the more complex issues of dignity and stigma associated with food insecurity. By progressively building our capacity and influence in food recovery, Farmlink is strategically positioned to lead a movement that changes the narrative around food insecurity, advocating for a dignified approach to food access. At the Farmlink Project, we're dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive team, aware that food insecurity and climate change disproportionately affect BIPOC and marginalized communities. Our ongoing commitment includes educating our team and expanding our community. Internally, we focus on understanding and diversifying our demographics, promoting open communication and continuous learning, and implementing equitable standards. Externally, we're committed to making the food recovery conversation accessible, amplifying community-level stories and voices within our food system, advocating for systemic change in food access, and broadening our food rescue network. This holistic approach ensures that every identity is valued and heard.

Mission Statement:
The Farmlink Project’s mission is to connect surplus produce to communities in need, reduce carbon emissions, and empower the next generation of young changemakers. The Farmlink Project serves as a “link” connecting the broken supply chains of the agricultural and food access industries.
