Women and youth are the most vulnerable groups to climate change. The project has a gender policy of 50% of the supposed to be beneficiaries to be females.
The project also brings more women landowners on board and make them a priority group to receive tree seedlings for planting.
The project conducts community sensitization meetings with the vulnerable groups and educate the community on the environment and resilient farming methods to counter climate change.
The project shall inspire new community legislation at local government levels addressing climate change and resilience building approaches though engagements with local leaders.
