This project, currently targets 125 single and young mothers based in 5 groups composed of 25 members, and we aim to extend our number to 16 groups and reaching 400 young and single mothers.  We identified it as a groups that is often marginalised and underrepresented in both the climate movement and broader society and it is hard for them to feed their families and children. By providing them with training and opportunities in environmental initiatives, it aims to empower these women economically, socially, and environmentally.

Women, particularly single mothers, face unique challenges in accessing opportunities for economic empowerment and participation in environmental initiatives. Through EMPOWER, we seek to address these challenges by providing tailored training and support that enables them to actively engage in activities such as sustainable agriculture, tree planting, and environmental conservation.
