BATx creates opportunities for groups often excluded from climate action by focusing on inclusion and practical solutions. As a youth-led organization where all team members are under 30, we provide employment to individuals from underserved areas and sponsor their engineering studies, fostering local talent in sustainable innovation. For individuals with disabilities, we design specialized batteries for electric wheelchairs that are affordable and reliable. These solutions enhance mobility, enabling users to navigate urban environments freely and even take on jobs such as delivery services, fostering independence and economic participation.

Our off-grid renewable energy projects further benefit marginalized communities by providing reliable energy to remote areas. These initiatives prioritize education and food security, transforming lives in regions with limited access to modern infrastructure. In one very special instance we provided energy to a native community school and health outpost, doubling the positive impact as cultural heritage preservation. By integrating these underrepresented groups into our mission, BATx ensures a more equitable and inclusive approach to sustainability, bridging gaps in energy access and economic opportunity.This is why our driving mission is to give purpose to energy's every lifecycle. It's not only about uses in industry, but about bringing energy storage where it is needed.
