Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

Our project actively empowers underrepresented groups, particularly women, youth, and climate-vulnerable communities, by involving them in both the workforce and as beneficiaries of our biogas solutions.
Women: We prioritize hiring women in our technical and administrative roles, promoting gender equality in the renewable energy sector. Additionally, our training programs aim to equip women with biogas maintenance skills, enabling them to become local technicians and entrepreneurs.
Youth: By mobilizing local youth for excavation and construction, we provide them with job opportunities and vocational training in biogas technology. Currently, 62.5% of our workforce is youth, fostering their engagement in sustainable development while offering them practical skills and income.

Climate-Vulnerable Communities: Our focus on underserved areas ensures that marginalized groups, including low-income households and slum dwellers, gain access to clean energy and improved sanitation. By using local resources and labor, we enhance community ownership and resilience.

Representation within our organization reflects this commitment, with diverse staff that includes three women and five youth among our eight permanent employees. We strive for inclusivity in decision-making, ensuring that the voices of those most affected by climate change are heard and integrated into our project design and implementation.
