How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption)', 'Removes/stores GHGs (e.g., projects that capture, sequester, or otherwise enhance the "sinks" that accumulate and store GHGs)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
We work to ensure gender equity in our pedagogical experiences, promoting environmental education that is equally accessible to girls and boys. From the field of communications and projects, we foster an environment where women's leadership in decision-making in our project and their role in the science, technology and innovation system is recognized and valued. We believe in the importance of equal representation and empowerment of women as agents of change in the fight against climate change. In addition, we work to strengthen the capacities of rural communities in the region we inhabit, and thanks to our actions, the recyclers' association was organized and its waste management process was professionalized. We also provided training in composting and vermiculture to our rural community, which allows families to transform their waste into quality fertilizers, generating income and transforming their agricultural practices in favor of soil regeneration. We also empower rural and low socioeconomic youth in climate action by linking them to our environmental education and guidance projects.
