Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

Directly, Broad Sack Ltd will employ over 150 staffs 80% women and youth to work in the office and production sector.
Indirectly, we will help the growing green Kenya economy not only by addressing plastic pollution but also provides over a thousand meaningful green employment for youth, women, farmers, tailors and waste pickers who are at the bottom of our economic pyramid. 
Plastic waste collectors, once overlooked, will now play a crucial role in the recycling value chain. These individuals will earn revenue by selling their collected plastic and polypropylene waste to our factory for pp pellets and granules processing into other commercial polypropylene products made from recycled pp waste.
We will train and empower rural women and youth who are the backbone of our food system on how to effectively use polypropylene anti weed mats to boost and increase food production.
We will also help create source of income and employment to small retailers, street vendors and merchants of eco-friendly and re-usable packaging bags who will be buying the woven packaging bags at a cheaper price from our factory for reselling to their customers.
