How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

One major means of empowerment is in the creation of jobs – 450 direct jobs will be created in the project. Of these, 50% will be women and 20% of the total will be from underrepresented communities.
Moreso the jobs created will include highly specialized roles which will require training and learning – this would elevate the employability of workers in the project. 
Subcontracts will also follow a 50% gender diversity policy – this is especially crucial on the construction spend and auxiliary activities.
Climate change affects the most marginalized in our communities – by making batteries locally, we make our products more accessible and affordable to the populace we serve, making their switch in decarbonization easier and pocket-friendly.
Long-term we are developing opportunities upstream in the battery value chain for entrepreneurs and contractors from underserved communities in the mining  and transport space.
