Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Our team is composed of female and male leadership, across a variety of ages (ranging from 23 - 60), with diverse backgrounds across disciplines and ethnicity. We strongly believe that diversity in experience and thinking is central to our organization and has been the propeller for our rapid progress. For example, the fusion of biology and engineering thinking has resulted in our novel bioreactor design that is both economical from a manufacturing standpoint and beneficial for the microbes. This design could only have been achieved by nontraditional thinking of bypassing the standard gas fermentation setup and an understanding of what the microbes truly need for their productivity. In doing so, we increase the overall representation of underrepresented groups in climate, such as youth in hardtech / biotech companies, in hopes of inspiring the next generation of climate-conscious people. We believe that talent comes in every form and we need all talents and ideas to tackle the massive issue of climate change.

Mission Statement:
CarbonBridge converts waste GHGs into liquid fuel using microbes in the most energy efficient, low carbon, and cost-effective production process to exist. With this biological platform, we can achieve fossil fuel parity by 2027 and ultimately replace fossil fuels, and their downstream products, altogether. We begin this journey with methanol.
