Carbonsate actively empowers climate-vulnerable communities by creating decentralized carbon storage projects that generate local economic opportunities. Our projects are designed to operate wherever biomass is available, often in regions disproportionately affected by climate change. By collaborating with local communities for biomass sourcing and land agreements, we support sustainable livelihoods while addressing global emissions. This ensures that the benefits of carbon removal reach those who are most impacted by climate change.

Internally, Carbonsate is co-founded and led by a woman, reflecting our commitment to diversity and inclusion. As we grow, we aim to build a team that represents a broad spectrum of voices, including women, people of color, and individuals from climate-vulnerable regions. We prioritize partnerships with organizations and stakeholders from underrepresented groups, integrating their perspectives into our operations and decision-making processes.
