Climate-i is female led by Elinor, our CEO. Currently we are a team of two co-founders, supported by advisors. We have an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy in place and it is a top priority to ensure future recruitment encourages applications from diverse groups and is conducted in a way that maximizes their chances of success. We are based in Cornwall, UK, an area of relative deprivation (significant on a European wide scale) so a key priority for us is to create new, skilled jobs in the region, and to have a similar impact if we set up offices in other countries. Outside our own team, our main impact will be through delivering climate change mitigation whose effects are typically felt most by poor and vulnerable groups.

Mission Statement:

Climate-i is developing technology to capture the world's most potent and fastest growing emissions: fluorinated gases. We're starting with leaks of SF6 from the electricity grid, helping to ensure that future power systems really are net zero.
