Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

We create local green jobs and provide carpentry training with a special focus on recruiting female carpenters. In the past, we have co-created a project with the community in Uganda’s West Nile region at Rhino Camp Refugee Camp. Your support to scale up delivery and visibility to meet the needs of families today will enable us to reach this goal. In addition, we plan to establish a training program for local communities on low cost,  sustainable construction techniques, empowering them to build their own homes and participate in the value chain. 

One of our proudest achievements is the strong gender balance within our workforce as shown on our website: https://www.easyhousing.org/about. Female professionals lead our engineering, construction, architecture, carpentry and sales teams, reflecting our deliberate hiring practices to empower women in the traditionally male-dominated construction sector. This diversity enriches our culture and enhances our capacity to deliver innovative solutions. In addition, our team is made up of over twenty team members from various nationalities such as Uganda, Mozambique, Kenya, The Netherlands and Ghana.
