Two Billion trees are cut down every year just to supply wood to the furniture and the construction industry making deforestation the second leading cause of climate change. ECOACT Tanzania is a social enterprise that has developed a chemical free technology to transform ocean plastic waste, packaging materials and electronic waste to manufacture durable and affordable plastic timbers used for building, construction as well as furniture making.
