Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

A key part of our project is what we do with the waste we cover across our automated collection stations and doorstep pickup routes. We train and empower clusters of typically under-served local community women to transform plastic wastes into new lifestyle products which they then leverage on to make sustainable income. We have trained over 1,000 women in communities across Nigeria who now advocate for using wastes as a resource in their local communities. 
As we scale the deployment of our automated reverse vending machines, we are also training more local community women to manage these automated collection centers as agents.
