How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Direct Empowerment: ● Targeting Female Farmers: We prioritize female farmers as end users, ● Female Workforce: At EGYMAG, over 70% of our team are women, with 100% of our production team and all middle management roles held by females, ensuring gender equality in deployment. Indirect Empowerment: ● Rezak Mn Khair Betek: This project empowers low-income, low-educated, or uneducated female farmers by training them to rear Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae, creating a sustainable income source. The project is expanding to include more communities in Bahira and Assiut governments, utilizing both individual partnerships and collaborations with local NGOs. ○ Target and Delivery: Focuses on marginalized women, offering them sustainable income through BSF larvae rearing. ○ Purpose: Empowers women by providing practical training and methods for rearing BSF larvae, which are used for organic fertilizer, animal feed, and waste management.
