As we develop our technology and scale our operations, we will also deploy our technology to help with ocean related issues in local communities.

Our project will empower communities by leveraging seaweed farming technology to address localized environmental challenges. We aim to deploy seaweed farms as a way to address pollution caused by agricultural runoff, particularly near river outlets and coastal regions where tourism and livelihoods are at risk. Our farms improve water quality, mitigate harmful algae blooms by our seaweed absorbing the chemicals in the water, boost biodiversity, and protect vital marine ecosystems.

In addition, we are committed to fostering diversity within our team, actively recruiting individuals from underrepresented groups in the climate movement to ensure our solutions are equitable and inclusive. Additionally, we plan to train local teams in our innovative seaweed farming techniques, including the construction of portable seaweed nurseries and the cultivation of seaweed plantlets on grow lines. Our goal is to engage youth and provide employment opportunities for both men and women in these communities, empowering them to drive sustainable change from within.
