Primary Project Category:
How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Replaces/avoids GHGs (e.g., projects that replace sources of GHGs, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, transport, or other energy uses)', 'Removes/stores GHGs (e.g., projects that capture, sequester, or otherwise enhance the "sinks" that accumulate and store GHGs)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Our project empowers climate-vulnerable communities, particularly women and small-scale farmers in low-income agricultural regions, by providing accessible, sustainable animal feed solutions. Many of these farmers face economic barriers due to rising feed costs, while women often play critical but underrecognized roles in agriculture. By reducing feed costs by 20%, we enable smallholders to enhance their livelihoods and reinvest in their farms, fostering economic stability. Our organization reflects these values through equitable representation. Women hold key leadership roles, and we actively engage youth and climate-affected communities in project development and implementation. Educational outreach programs and training workshops equip these groups with skills in sustainable practices, ensuring they are not only beneficiaries but active participants in the circular economy. By addressing both economic and social inequities, our project builds resilience and inclusivity in the fight against climate change
