Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

The upper-northern part of Nepal, with its majestic Himalayas, faces extreme vulnerability to climate change. This region, home to a sparse population and minority groups, is largely feminized due to widespread emigration. We predominantly work with ethnic minority groups, integrating diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) as core principles to promote global climate stability.
Nepal ranks as the 5th most climate-vulnerable country globally, facing significant risks from climate change impacts. Lack of access to clean energy has hindered industries from thriving, forcing them to rely on costly and polluting diesel generators. This not only raises operational costs but also exacerbates environmental challenges, limiting economic growth.
Our solar projects addresses this by providing clean and cost-effective energy solutions that empower industries to transition toward sustainability. By reducing energy costs and ensuring reliable power, these projects enable enterprises to grow and create local jobs, reducing youth migration to foreign countries in search of employment.
Our organization prioritizes inclusivity by actively involving individuals from all backgrounds, including women, youth, and other underrepresented groups, across leadership roles, technical teams, and community outreach efforts. This holistic approach allows us to address varied perspectives and needs, making our projects more impactful and inclusive for all stakeholders.
