Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

We focus on providing equal opportunities to women in our startup and also encourage empowerment of them to become leaders in our business units. Moreover, we are also upgrading our technology with RPAs which allows women from the local community to be part of the production process once dominated by men due to its nature of operation and heavy labor intensive industry. Currently 60% of our supply chain are women who are empowered from our training.

Secondly, most of the local community is small farm-holders from indigenous background and live in rural areas. We encourage them to collect their respective organic waste and pass to our site for treatment before up-cycling for production of alternative feeds. Besides that, we want to educate them on the importance of a circular economy as the agricultural waste issue is becoming serious in their community. Empowering them to be environmental-friendly and replace conventional waste disposal practices with our solution. In return, we will subsidize them with our recycled feeds and fertilizers, which are 40% lower than the market rate and this is critical for most of them due to rising prices in imported feeds.
