Horizon centers inclusivity by prioritizing the voices and contributions of underrepresented groups in the climate movement. Our platform ensures that smaller, resource-constrained productions, often led by women, people of color, and youth, gain access to sustainability tools and training previously unavailable to them. By fostering equitable access to these resources, we empower these groups to lead in sustainable practices within the creative industries.

To further this commitment, we are exploring a freemium model for independent productions or those led by underrepresented or marginalized groups, especially if their projects address climate stories. Productions that qualify through a standard application process will receive tailored support, including free consulting, access to our resources, and the opportunity to use our platform to ensure their sustainability claims are auditable. We aim to make sustainability certifications, which are often prohibitively expensive, accessible to up-and-coming filmmakers and diverse voices.
