How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:

['Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption)']

Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

Our project empowers climate-vulnerable communities, particularly small-scale farmers in rural areas, who are often excluded from technological advancements. These farmers, many of whom belong to underrepresented groups, face systemic challenges such as lack of resources, market access, and exposure to climate-induced risks.

By providing affordable AI-driven solutions for sorting and packaging, we enhance their income potential and resilience to climate variability. Our technology reduces post-harvest losses, ensuring farmers receive fair prices and improving food security in their communities.

We also prioritize women’s empowerment by actively engaging women-led farming cooperatives and offering training programs that encourage their participation in agri-tech operations. These initiatives help bridge the gender gap in agriculture and technology adoption.

Within our organization, we emphasize diversity and inclusion by employing team members from diverse socio-economic and regional backgrounds, reflecting the communities we aim to serve. Many of our field operators and trainers are locals, ensuring cultural sensitivity and trust-building in implementation.

Through these efforts, our project not only addresses climate challenges but also uplifts marginalized groups, ensuring they play an active role in shaping sustainable solutions while benefiting economically and socially.
