Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

The climate crisis is not “gender neutral”. According to the United Nations, women and girls experience the greatest impacts of climate change, which amplifies existing gender inequalities and poses unique threats to their livelihoods, health, and safety.
Climate change policies must address women’s unique challenges. By focusing on improving women’s capabilities – meaning their opportunities – it is possible to protect them from the impacts of climate change. So must climate innovation. 

Mycocycle is female founded with 50% female leadership. Greater than 60% of the operational staff is female or POC. We believe in equal opportunities for all, providing support for continual growth through jobs training, education, healthcare, and financial opportunities (living wages, 401K).
