How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption)', 'Removes/stores GHGs (e.g., projects that capture, sequester, or otherwise enhance the "sinks" that accumulate and store GHGs)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Our project empowers underrepresented groups, particularly women, youth, and climate-vulnerable communities, by providing them with leadership roles in mangrove restoration and sustainable oyster farming. Local women, many of whom are tsunami survivors, play a central role in oyster farming and restoration activities. Our project also focuses on training youth, especially from marginalized backgrounds, to become future leaders in climate action. By integrating these groups into decision-making, we ensure they have ownership of the project's success and create sustainable, climate-resilient livelihoods. Our team is diverse, reflecting a strong commitment to inclusivity.
