Impact on Underrepresented Groups:

The project is designed to empower women and youth in low income areas by creating inclusive opportunities in sustainable waste management and agriculture. The goal of the project is to create consistent, stable and decent jobs with a focus on women and youth along its value chain.

Currently, 45% of our workforce comprises women, while 90% are youth. Additionally, 60% of our management team is female, ensuring that decision-making processes reflect diverse perspectives. This inclusive leadership structure inspires more women and youth to actively participate in the climate movement.

The project aims to provide training and fair employment opportunities to waste workers, many of whom come from marginalized and climate-vulnerable communities. By integrating them into the circular economy, we improve their livelihoods and build their resilience to climate-related challenges.

Our organic fertilizer (frass) distribution specifically targets smallholder farmers who have experienced soil degradation and declining yields due to prolonged chemical fertilizer use. These farmers, often part of vulnerable rural communities, benefit from improved soil health and increased productivity, empowering them economically and sustainably.
