How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Replaces/avoids GHGs (e.g., projects that replace sources of GHGs, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, transport, or other energy uses)', 'Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption)', 'Removes/stores GHGs (e.g., projects that capture, sequester, or otherwise enhance the "sinks" that accumulate and store GHGs)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
The campaign is targeted at children and adolescent in public schools (particularly). Public schools in Nigeria has most of the economically challenged pupils. These pupils also reside in communities susceptible to the negative impact of climate change - contaminated fishes (mainly riverine areas - open defecation, illegal mining of crude, oil spillage etc.), rising sea level, incessant malaria and typhoid illnesses, poverty (early teenage pregnancy, gangsterism, arm robbery etc.) Organizationally, due to current economic conditions we have more women volunteers (due to inability to lack of regular financial incentives, they are referred to as volunteers because it is a pro bono services technically). We are very passionate about building a sustainable future for everyone especially persons with disability PWPs, women, aged, children/adolescent and rural communities who are the vulnerable groups in climate change. We also have zero tolerance for activities that will undermine any individual regardless of age, tribe, race, religion, disability etc. therefore our activity gives a sense of partnership to both direct and indirect member of the campaign team.
