How Project Affects Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions:
['Replaces/avoids GHGs (e.g., projects that replace sources of GHGs, such as the burning of fossil fuels for electricity, heat, transport, or other energy uses)', 'Reduces GHGs (e.g., projects that reduce sources of GHGs, such as through efficiency or other changes in consumption)', 'Removes/stores GHGs (e.g., projects that capture, sequester, or otherwise enhance the "sinks" that accumulate and store GHGs)']
Impact on Underrepresented Groups:
Both of our full-time cofounders are women, and our team including the Rutgers research group has a diverse representation of ethnicities and races, from Asian, African-American, and Indian. We've prioritized diversity in the roots of our company and will continue to prioritize a minimum 50% representation of underrepresented minorities at our company. Youth is also a core component of our founding team, as our founder, Teresa Liu, is a 776 Fellow which awards youth company founders, activists, and non-profit founders under the age of 24 to quit/drop out and pursue climate change rather than pursuing conventional career paths. We aim to be an inspiring company that is pioneering climate solutions while creating a culture that is inclusive, diverse, and innovative.
